$10 per entry — because financial barriers shouldn't stand between a writer and a stage.

The Cosmopolitan Writing Award is committed to accessibility. Our entry fee is $10 per submission, one of the lowest in the competitive writing space. We believe that talent, not budget, should determine who gets to compete.

Fee Structure

• Entry fee: $10 per submission
• Multiple entries: Submit to as many categories as you wish — each requires a separate $10 fee
• No hidden costs: The $10 covers submission, evaluation, and results notification

Payment Methods

We accept major credit/debit cards and standard online payment methods through our secure submission portal. Payment is processed at the time of submission.

Why $10?

Many prestigious writing competitions charge $15–$30 or more per entry. Some charge additional fees for feedback or certificates. At CWA, the $10 fee covers everything, and it helps us maintain the infrastructure for our AI evaluation system while keeping the door open for students from all economic backgrounds.
